Welcome to David Walker Fine Art

I know that you have walked down the street, hiked on a path,

moved through a crowd, or turned a corner . . .

then suddenly, without expectation, something catches your eye . . .

and your heart, mind and soul reacts to your surroundings.

It is at that moment that I have the need or desire

to capture that split second of time.

When light and shadow, or color and shape defines

the uniqueness of the person or surroundings.

The challenge is to translate it for the viewer to see what I see.

It could be something as simple as a color hue . . . or the fall of a shadow . . .

or the fold of cloth . . . or the texture of surface . . .

or a twist of a muscle . . . or the expression of an eye.

I love people!

I am fascinated with the ability of an artist to imprison for a moment

the shining, elusive element which is life itself.

I continue to explore my relationship with my God, my environment,

and mankind around me; so I can stretch myself artistically and emotionally.

I have to keep changing, improving, seeing new ways to see . . .

turning images into exciting living compositions. . .

drawing the viewer in, to become part of this experience.”
